Looking after the personal information you share with us is very important, and we want you to be confident that your personal data is kept safely and securely, and to understand how we use it to keep you updated re new job opportunities and candidates.
We have published this notice to help you understand how and why Honeypot People collect information from you; who we share your information with, why and on what basis; and what your rights are.
If we make changes to this notice we will notify you by updating it on our website.
Honeypot People will be what is known as the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us, and we will sometimes refer to ourselves in this notice as “we” or “us”. By Data Controller, this means Honeypot People determines the purposes and way in which any personal data are, or will be, processed.
What information we collect when you register and why?
When we contact you regarding your CV we will store or ask you to provide some personal information such as;
Address (and previous addresses)
Date of birth
Contact numbers, and
All candidate and client information is stored on our internal database. It is security protected and accessed by Honeypot staff only. No external organisations are able to log in to our company database.
All personal data will be removed from CV’s, apart from name.
If a client’s requests any personal information we will always get your approval before details are passed over. If a candidate requests to contact you directly we will always get your approval before details are passed over.
Any data held by Honeypot People will be used for recruitment purposes only. Photographic ID is also stored for legality purposes, as well as links to professional online profiles in certain cases.
This information is purely for Honeypot People’s use, and not for public domain.
No information will be passed to third parties without the candidate’s or client’s approval.
All sources used to provide your data are legitimate legal sources, if we have found your details from an online source we will always contact you first to confirm you are happy for us to work with you, and store your information.
Your information will be stored on our internal database, unless you ask for it to be removed. This allows us to keep in communication with you. However if you wish at any point for that to stop please do email us and we will immediately remove your data.

Congratulations to local recruitment company Honeypot People at being awarded the Bronze Army Covenant award. Salisbury based Recruiters Honeypot People have just received some exciting news, having been awarded the Bronze Army Covenant Award. The Award shows recognition to employers who fully support the employment of Military families and work to support local Army spouses in their search for job opportunities. A spokesman for the MOD said “We would like to thank you for your statement of intent to support defence personnel. The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises bronze, silver and gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families.” Managing Director Melanie Daly commented ‘As an employer I have an Army Spouse working for me and she is fantastic. It really bought to my attention how we need to support local military families and assist Army spouses in their search for new roles. Often they will have been relocated to the Wiltshire area and need a friendly Agency to chat to about finding good employment opportunities, as well as help with CV writing. We really appreciate their skill set and many candidates may struggle due to shorter postings. Being able to help them find contracts means they can continue in their career path” Philippa Bullock, Temporary Division Manager said “being an army wife myself, I understand how frustrating it is explaining to an employer why you have moved around the country and not being able to utilise your education or skill set to continue your career in a new area”. “HoneyPot People has given me the opportunity to continue my career and develop a new skill set. Well done to our own Jed Doe who recently undertook the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involved climbing the three highest peaks in the UK over 3 days, one each day. The peaks were Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales). He walked a total of 27 miles, climbing over 3000 meters and travelling more than 1000 miles in just 3 days, to raise money for Salisbury Hospital's Star's Appeal. The Stars Appeal is Salisbury District Hospital’s charity (no.1052284). They raise money to create the best possible experience for patients and their families by funding extra care and equipment over and above that provided by the NHS. Congrats Jed, great job and we hope the blisters weren’t too bad!

Rezoomo conducted a survey with 100 participants from across Ireland and the UK who are currently seeking employment. Here are some of the main findings,
85% of the participants use social media when searching for a job. Platforms included are Facebook , Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram and Google + a breakdown of the study shows the most popular used.
40% use Facebook
15% use Twitter
35% use LinkedIn
5% use Instagram
3% use Google +
2 % use other ( this includes Snapchat and Blog sites)Mobile phone usage
65% of the participants use their mobile phone when searching online for job vacancies. The other 35% use their laptops or tablets.Importance of social media when recruiting
85% of job seekers said that they find it important that companies use social media when advertising vacancies to attract talent.
93% said that if they saw a job on a social media platform they would share it with a friend / family member or colleague if they thought it would interest them.
76% of participants said that they would visit a companies social media platforms before applying for a job.
So it would seem ladies & gents, if your looking for your new role social media is the way forward!
